Marlenne Doss, B.Sc.(Hons.), LL.B.
Marlenne was called to the bar in 2005. She obtained her law degree from Queen’s University in 2004. Prior to this, she graduated from the University of Toronto in 1999 with an Honors Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience and Psychology
Marlenne is the principal of Doss Law, founded in 2008 and specializing in Immigration and Refugee Law, Real Estate Law and Wills and Estates Law. She has attended on matters in the Ontario Superior Court, the Immigration and Refugee Board and several other tribunals
Prior to this, Marlenne gained experience as an instructor of paralegal and law clerk courses and practiced law in a firm specializing in immigration and refugee law. She also worked with a prominent intellectual property firm in Ottawa, where she gained exposure to a broad range of corporate, trade-mark, patent, tribunal and Federal Court of Appeal work.
She is a member in good standing with the Law Society of Upper Canada, a Notary Public and a Commissioner of Oaths in Ontario.
Marlenne can proficiently communicate with her clients in Arabic. She is also actively involved in her community and presents seminars regularly on various legal topics. In her down time, she enjoys travel, cooking, the theatre and cultural activities.
